No servers, no accounts, no analytics. Here is the long version.
Effective 14 September 2026. Applies to the LocalQuill app and keyboard for iOS and Android.
LocalQuill has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Your chats, the assistant's memory, your keyboard style profile and everything you type are processed and stored only on your device. We do not receive them, and we cannot.
The Android app uses the internet for exactly one thing: downloading the model files you choose in Settings › On-device models, over HTTPS from a public model repository. No identifiers are sent with those downloads beyond what any HTTPS request carries. The iOS app makes no network requests.
You can delete any memory line, any chat, all chats, the learned style, or the app itself. Deleting the app removes everything.
Nothing. We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporters that upload data, advertising identifiers or third-party trackers. If you email us, we receive what you send.
LocalQuill is rated for general audiences and collects no personal data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with a new effective date. Because the app has no server, no policy change can retroactively affect data you already have.
